Microfine cement is used for grouting of rock fissures in underground tunnels and
for establishing cut-off walls in dam abutments where conventional cement grouts cannot penetrate. Microfine cement is also used for grouting of construction joints in concrete structures.

The scope of work for a concrete restoration project of masonry walls for an old fortification (c. 1800's) included the application of microfine cement grouts, injected through sleeve pipes, to reduce permeability within masonry structure.
